Fake News and Lying Politicians

Public servants must uphold honesty and integrity, ensuring that all constituents receive truthful information, regardless of political affiliation, race, religion, sex, or gender.

The citizens of the United States will not stand by as deception becomes a political strategy. When politicians lie to manipulate voters, they undermine democracy and violate the public’s trust. Polling data shows that if voters had been fully informed about candidates’ dishonesty, corruption, and discriminatory beliefs before elections, many would have chosen differently. An educated electorate is the key to preventing deceitful politicians from gaining or retaining power.

In recent years, political lies and misinformation have spread rapidly, often amplified by biased media, online echo chambers, and social networks. Some politicians manipulate facts, distort history, and push false narratives to serve their own agendas, deceiving voters into supporting policies that harm them. Without accountability, these dishonest tactics continue unchecked, leading to the election of leaders who prioritize self-interest over public service.

When elected officials lie, they erode trust in government and democracy itself. Politicians who mislead the public are not only unfit to serve but also set dangerous precedents for future leaders. If voters are misinformed, they are robbed of their ability to make educated decisions at the ballot box. Holding leaders accountable for dishonesty is essential to ensuring a fair and transparent government—one that serves all Americans, not just those who benefit from deceit.

In 2020, we launched the Fake News movement to expose those with agendas and fake narratives and find hidden interests and money trails. Our campaign worked to educate voters nationwide, leading to the removal of these individuals from public office and/or they did not get elected.
